Educational Outreach

We are proud to offer outreach services (talks, workshops, tours, lectures etc.) to educational establishments, community groups, interest groups etc. including on subjects such as:

  • an introduction to conservation
  • our work and projects
  • the conservation of particular materials/types of object (e.g. paper, textile, archaeological material)
  • an introduction to ceramics conservation
  • preventive conservation practice
  • ‘have a go’ activities for adults and/or children, conservation and volunteers (e.g. what a Conservator does, cleaning archaeological finds, repairing ceramics)
  • historical conservation walking tours, and so on.

Please contact us to find out if we could cater for your needs. We are happy to work with you to design a bespoke experience relevant to your group.
