We're delighted to announce a new workshop, in partnership with the Heritage Skills Centre, Lincoln Castle. 'Caring for Your Church's Artefacts' is designed especially for those helping to care for historic churches, and aims to impart the knowledge and skills they need to look after some of the artefacts or monuments in their own places of worship.

On Saturday 3 September we were delighted to visit the National Centre for Craft & Design, Sleaford, to lead a workshop in basic ceramic restoration techniques. "What Broken Pot?" aimed to give the learners an understanding of the core processes of recording, bonding, filling and re-touching broken pots - after all, we're all clumsy sometimes!

We've had a wonderful ceramic reconstruction project in our workrooms recently - a very large Roman vessel which was excavated almost intact from a site in the village of Navenby, just South of Lincoln.

We're very excited to announce a new series of workshops at the Heritage Skills Centre, Lincoln, during 2015 and 2016. Read on for more information!

Last month Leah went on a two-day workshop to learn about tapestries from the weaver's side of the loom. Below is a review of the event that she has written for ICON magazine.
