If you are looking for something a bit different for Careers week, Art week, or Activities week at your school or college, then we'd love to speak to you.

As well as public workshops, we're also equipped to deliver workshops for young and adult learners in schools, colleges and other educational organisations. We can work with you to develop our programme according to what best suits your organisation, and are very flexible. We really do like nothing better than being able to engage people in what we do, whether that is by giving informal talks or more formal lectures, chatting about the work of a Conservator, or putting on hands-on activities inspired by conservation for adults and children.

Young people especially are very interested in getting their hands dirty with our activities, and so if your school or college is looking for a more unusual angle to feature as part of its curriculum activities, we would be happy to work with you to design and deliver some classroom activities based around conservation skills (as well as history, we also use skills from Art, Science, English and Maths in our day-to-day work, so Conservation can slot into a number of curriculum areas!)

We have staff who are members of the Higher Education Academy, so you can be sure that our workshops and talks will be planned and delivered with appropriate pedagogic principles in mind. If you would like to see example lesson plans, please email us.
