As well as workshops, we're also equipped to appear at a variety of public events, such as history fairs, themed heritage days or open days. We can work with you to develop our pitch according to what best suits the style of your event, and are very flexible. We really do like nothing better than being able to engage people in what we do, whether that is by giving informal talks or more formal lectures, chatting about the work of a Conservator with passers-by, or putting on hands-on activities inspired by conservation for adults and children.

In 2014 and 2015 we have been involved in a number of these outdoor events, which were enjoyed collectively by thousands of Lincolnshire residents and visitors. More information on these can be found on our Past Projects pages. Young people especially were very interested in getting their hands dirty with our activities, and so if your school or college is looking for a more unusual angle to feature as part of its careers or history curriculum activities, we would be happy to work with you to design and deliver some classroom activities based around conservation skills (as well as history, we also use skills from Art, Science, English and Maths in our day-to-day work!)

Details of forthcoming public events will be featured below, when we have them.
